Where Orbital Labs was stuck.

Orbital Labs had grown through acquisition and the brand was fragmented across three visual languages. Their marketing site felt like it belonged to a different company from their product, and neither felt enterprise-grade. Onboarding new designers meant weeks of tribal-knowledge transfer before they could ship consistently.

How we solved it.

We ran a brand sprint with stakeholders from product, sales, and leadership to align on positioning and visual direction. From there we built a complete brand identity: logo, colour system, typography scale, icon style, and motion principles, followed by an 80-component Figma library mirrored in code. The marketing site was rebuilt on Next.js with the design system as its foundation, giving the marketing team a page-builder experience without sacrificing pixel quality.

Results that matter.

The design system was adopted by all 12 product teams within 6 weeks of launch. New designer ramp-up time dropped from 3 weeks to 4 days. The redesigned marketing site converted at 2.8 % within 60 days, up from 0.6 %. Orbital Labs cited the rebrand as a contributing factor in their Series B close three months later.
